The Pond

The pond is full of
surprises. I saw the water
drift side to side. It
had a swirly whirlpool.
It started to rain.
The rain bounced off
the car. Some rain danced
on the roof and dived
into the pond. I saw a
fish with miraculous
color and a frog that
said: “Pond! Pond! Jump
in the pond! Pond! But
the pond burst into
thousands of water-colored
bursts all at once. The
frog jumped into a
water burst and the water
burst turned into
a bubble. Then the
pond was rainbow
colored, then sounded
like the piccolo.
