The sun was slowly lifting
as a sailboat was silhouetted
against the uprising of it, while
lazily floating towards shore after
a morning of fishing. The calmed
navy colour of the ocean was
spotted and streaked from the
newborn rays of sunlight, which
were also placing a honey cover
over the store fronts. The seagulls
broke out into calls, happy that
their friend, the sun, was back
once more. Any clouds that were left
from the stormy night were dissipating
or parting, moving onto the
next storm to come. The sun was fully
round now, just letting go of
the watery bed, left behind.
